We knew Lawrence when we lived in London and became familiar with his art work and was impressed with the diverse range of mediums that he could use. Following our relocation to Australia and the subsequent renovation of our house, we realised the potential for some art work and contacted many local artists who could not meet our expectations, both with design ideas and imagination and did not understand our brief  and were very expensive. We consulted Lawrence on the matter, sending him photos of the art-work sites and he responded with sketches for our perusal and agreement. Following our discussions, we agreed that painting the glass of the entrance foyer and the walls of the rear balcony would be the best option. It was also more cost effective for us to fly Lawrence out to Australia compared to what the local artists wanted to charge us. He came to our home in Tasmania in July 2019 armed with a bag full of equipment and media for painting on the glass and walls. After one month of work that involved pre-work sketches and more discussions, work commenced and the results were impressive and to our utmost satisfaction. We finally agreed on the glass entrance foyer being painted to reflect local nature (birds and vegetation) and the rear balcony to capture our memories of our trips around Europe when we lived there, in particular our vacation in Venice. His preparatory work included making many sketches some of which were turned into works of art that we were able to have framed and put on our walls.

We highly recommend Lawrence to anyone requiring sympathetic, outstanding and high quality artwork, we are most definitely not disappointed.  Lawrence was a delight to work with and was open to making changes as the paintings developed. It was a wonderful experience watching our home come alive with his artwork and his true understanding of what we wanted and his amazing suggestions and advice.

Many visitors have come to our home and admired his work and wanted his number. Sadly, I said that he lives in the UK and we engaged him for a month’s work.
