A recent and exciting art exhibition in which I was fortunate to take part was an Artcan(UK) and Arte Borgo (Rome) managed exhibition, Transparent as a Butterfly. A wonderful show with exhibitions in both cities, my pencil study, Adelma, a response to the great Italian novelist Italo Calvini’s eponymous novel, around which the show was held, was accepted and featured in both of its shows. While in Rome for the exhibition, I took advantage of the time to do some watercolour work while wandering the city’s magnificent streets!
