Homage á Daumier

Homage à Daumier was conceived for the show ‘educating Picasso’ at the Espacio Gallery in London, and was a plain homage to the great French 19th century artist Honoré Daumier. Using his brilliant illustrations as the backbone of a film, I took the liberty of slipping in a few of my own drawings. The themes were topical and everyday, much like the content of Daumier’s own work.
